New Year New Colors!

A quick look back at some old projects and a good reason to forge ahead with one of my favorite colors for weaving, the Pantone color of the year for 2010. Yup. Turquoise! It's a welcome contrast to the shades of gray outside the window these days. So, into the dye pot will go some Peacock from Cushings and some Kingfisher from Dylon. Two of my favs. Have always liked the turquoise and brown combination or turquoise and a bright green but I'll need to experiment with a new match this year to shake things up. Will turn on all of the lights I can to get the full effect of this beautiful color. It takes me to the tropics while I'm weaving.
