Color Inspiration

One of my favorite perennials for hardiness and reliability is this sunny yellow loosestrife.

A small piece came from my grandmother's garden in PEI many years ago and since then it's been divided, shared and relocated many times. It is now in front of the studio in River Bennett happily blooming. I can almost imagine the sun is shining. This small little spot in the yard inspired a color combo in this basket.
The roadsides in Cape Breton are really pretty now with white daisies, yellow and orange hawkweeds and delicate blue chicory all blooming. Inspiration everywhere!

This is a stunning photo! I love how you incorporated the plant colors into your basket and their arrangement is so unusual. The basket has a great shape, too.
Beautiful! ~Annie
Ahhh...such pretty colors! The fuchsia and yellow go perfectly with the basket!
