More Felt for a Rainy Day

Cold, rainy weather for the last two days was countered by the warm colour of this lovely wool. A blend of three yellows was the recipe to get the ripeness for these pears just right. Single ones or a bowl full, I love making these for accents.

Seriously!

Sometimes you just have to play! Answer to the question "How did you spend your long weekend?"

Meet the Pumpkin People. There's a lovely orange glow around here and at The Centre for Craft and Design Gallery.

From August to October

No time for a post in September and it was a beautiful month! Autumn's splendor is in full swing now and things have been busy at the studio. There are so many gorgeous colour combinations and variety of hues in fall to inspire new work. I've been making apples and pears and eggplants and pumpkins! Here are my versions of fall colours.

Lots more to get done so I will say a hearty Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian pals and get back to enjoying the sunshine and painted leaves.
