Good Kind of Blues

I always have a hard time cutting flowers from the garden when they are in their prime.The rain and the heat made the delphiniums in my garden grow tall and beautiful but then the wind knocked them down. Perfect excuse and no guilt cutting them for a gorgeous bouquet! Lots of blooms fell off in the car on the trip to the studio so I put them in the pot of rain water with a few rose petals that I couldn't toss to the wind just yet. Such wonderful colors together!
