An almost daily commute this time year is the trip to the studio in River Bennett. I thought I'd share a picture of one of my favorite parts of the trip. It's a short ferry ride that gives us travelers a brief pause to just look at the scenery. This was a rainy day just starting to clear off. It's a great place to bird watch as well. The spectacular bald eagles are accompanied by lots of sea birds like cormorants and gulls follow the fishing boats as they come and go in St. Ann's Bay. There is also a beautiful fox that saunters up the road occasionally on my trip out!

What an interesting commute. Beats my 45 minute drive home through town.
