Flight Path
Another familiar sign of spring here in the Maritimes is the return of the Canada geese on their way north for the summer. On a recent trip to Prince Edward Island it was great to see the plowed fields full of geese picking away at the leftovers. No doubt they still have a long way to go. Needless to say it inspired a felt project. It's the first time I attempted to use wire for feet and they're not perfect but he stands on his own! I wrapped the wire with brown floral tape and it kind of looks like web feet.
On another topic, apologies to anyone who left comments that went into the ether. I changed some settings because folks were having trouble posting a comment and obviously it didn't work. It should be sorted out now.
I'm off to work on some twiggy bits today and will hopefully get back to getting new posts up with fresh work. There are a LOT of distractions in the spring.
Cheerio

I know, when I start needlefelting I cannot stop. I often go to the point when I hurt in my helbow...
