Wash Day
One of the nicest things about spring weather is the freshness of laundry off the line. This is my favorite kind of wash day. There was a cool brisk breeze so the quilts dried quickly and it seems to shake the wrinkles from them a bit.
The quilts all have special memories attached to them and it's nice to see them in their glory as they hang about under the maples. The one on the far left was made by my mother and left to my daughter. Comfort. The one in the middle was made by my mother in law and given to my daughter as well. Good cheer. The last one on the line I made a few years ago and it gets daily use on the sofa. Family. They all feel fresh and crisp now at the end of another beautiful spring day.
Have a great Victoria Day weekend.
