June Blooms

All of a sudden the shrubs have burst open their blooms. One of my favorites in the yard is Kerria 'japonica'. It has bright green stalks that look great in the winter and sprouts the neatest little yellow pompom blossoms. It's accompanied by the mauve lilac and creamy white viburnum flowers right now.
