Inspiration from the tide
A friend dropped off a bag of bit and pieces from the beach for me. She lives on the ocean and collected lots of debris amongst the shells and seaweed. I had requested some of the human contribution to the stuff that gets washed up on shore and apparently it took no time at all to fill half a blue bag with the trash. There was far more than I included in the picture, sadly.
I definitely prefer natures flotsam to what mankind contributes. So on a more positive note, look at the gorgeous colors in these sea urchin shells. It's easy to find inspiration in nature when you look at the alternative.
Purple and green are a perfect combination don't you think? No thank you Labatts Blue.
