Backyard Chatter
August is slipping by quickly and there are signs of a shift in the seasons already. One of those sure signs of fall approaching is the call of crows gathering to make what seems like a plan. You can hear them from a long way off in the distance, calling loudly, so no one misses their important announcement. You can't ignore it.
On a smaller scale the little birds that flock to the feeders are busy stocking up when the squirrels aren't being greedy.
I can't imagine a day without the sound of birds. It feels like a reassurance that things are carrying on as they should despite our own list of chores and obligations. Listen up!
