From the Dye Pot
Yesterday was a perfect day to get some dying done. It was dry and windy so I loaded up the deck railings with a rainbow of colored reed.
By the end of the day I had gone from yellow to red to purple to chestnut and finally two shades of my favorite color, green! I even did a little graduated dying with a couple of new tree pods. They are an experiment in shaping.
I'm thinking they will be the perfect excuse for the collectors among us that need to bring home rocks and cones and acorns. Collector pods!
There's that big leaf goldenray starting to open. It's so nice to have a new blooms this late in the growing season.
